Happy Valentine’s Day from Dr. Holzman and his team! By Kristina Oneill on February 14, 2014

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Have you ever noticed how many songs sing descriptive words about a person’s eyes?  We listen to music in the surgical suite throughout our day so we hear a lot of music.  I love to listen to the words of songs and it struck me one day that apparently to many musicians the eyes really are the window to the soul!  Check out this list of songs that specifically speak of the eyes...this blog is simply to say Happy Valentine’s Day from Dr. Holzman and his staff...and to open your eyes (pun intended) to the symbolic meaning of your eyes...they inspire songs that we love...and depending on your musical preference some that we hate...

In your eyes by Peter Gabriel - by far one of the top songs for symbolic meaning.

I get lost in your eyes - Debbie Gibson - the 80’s gem of a song

Brown eyed girl by Van Morrison-cant’t stop singing it!

Betty Davis eyes by Kim Carnes-Love it.

Private eyes by Hall and Oates-singing in my head right now...

For your eyes only by Sheena Easton- James Bond

Don't it make my brown eyes blue Crystal Gayle-Seriously long hair...

Angel eyes by Jeff Healey Band

These eyes are crying - The Guess Who

Behind these hazel eyes by Kelly Clarkson

Eye of the tiger by Survivor - Who doesn’t love a good fight song!

Behind those eyes by 3 doors down

Blue eyes crying in the rain by Willie Nelson

Eyes without a face by Billy Idol - Can envision Billly Idol and his angry lip in my head.

Dreamy Eyes by Christina Aguilera

Lying eyes by The Eagles - Great song!

Tears in my Eyes by The Universals

I only have eyes for you by the Flamingos-Oldie but a goodie!

Green Eyes by Coldplay-love Coldplay

Brown Eyed Handsome Man by Chuck Berry

Harvester of Eyes by Blue Oyster Cult

In My Daughter's Eyes by Martina McBride

Green Eyed Lady by Sugarloaf

Eye Of The Beholder by Metallica - no Metallica allowed in Dr. Holzman’s OR
