Dr. Holzman,

I’m the hospice nurse you operated on Thursday morning. I wanted to let you know that you are a miracle worker.

For years I have thought everyone else was crazy for having this surgery. As a health professional I have always felt that surgery is meant only for necessity and didn’t understand why anyone would have elective surgery. Well, being as blind as I was (-8.50) was a severe handicapp. If I had been separated from my glasses I would have been toast . . . And, now I get it.  This may be one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.

I am grateful for your professionalism and your skill. And, I want you to know how wonderful your staff are – especially Tina, Tony and Eleni.

Many thanks for all you do,

Mary-McLean Jones, RN, CHPN (aka “MM”)
