The vision correction procedure performed at Dr. Andrew Holzman’s Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Holzman Laser Vision facilities is quick and safe. Dr. Holzman will only need about 10-15 minutes to perform the surgery, and he even gives his patients guidelines on what to do before the operation.
Laser vision correction does not hurt. It is a very easy process, and it takes about 10 to 15 minutes for me to complete the process. On the day of the surgery, we’ll sit down in a pre-op room, I’ll explain some tips and give you some pointers on what I want you to concentrate on. Then I’ll also give you a Xanax which is going to help you relax and chill out just a little bit for the surgery. I talk to you throughout the entire surgery while I’m working, and we play pretty good music, which is going to be your choice as to what type of music you want to hear. Everybody tells me after the procedure it was much easier than they thought it was going to be. You go home for a three hour nap, and after you wake up from that nap you’ll see a world of difference, and you’ll feel no discomfort whatsoever. It is a very, very simple process.
