LASIK drye eye is something that can be treated at any Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Holzman Laser Vision Center. Dr. Andrew Holzman explains that patients that already have dry eye cannot undergo the procedure until their dry eye subsides.
Well, most certainly dry eye can affect your Lasik surgery if we chose to ignore this. However, we don’t choose to ignore this, and we take this matter very seriously at the pre-op examination. If we find you to be dry or we think you might be somebody who might develop dry eye after Lasik, we will treat you pre-operatively and wait for stabilization to occur. Once stabilization has occurred, then it’s safe to proceed with the surgery. After the surgery it’s very, very important to follow our instructions and to use the drops the way we prescribe them. You should do just fine after that.
